Individual Counselling

In one-to-one sessions you are encouraged to talk about the difficulties you have been experiencing. It is a process through which you explore and understand difficulties, and then taught to develop your own resources to cope with them. You will be carefully listened to, without judgement or criticism. The overall aim in counselling is for you to have a better understanding of how to cope with existing and possible future difficulties. Counselling session typically lasts 50 minutes and is arranged on weekly or biweekly basis, with date and time to suit you. An initial session will give you an idea of how counselling works and if it is something you could find useful.

Relationship Counselling

In a safe and secure atmosphere both partners will look for helpful, healthier and more effective ways of communicating and learn techniques to resolve current conflicts and avoid future ones or handle them constructively if they happen.  As well as helping with intimate relationships this type of counselling can help resolve the issues and improve the dynamics in any close relationship, with parents, siblings, or friends. Relationship counselling lasts 60 minutes at a frequency to suit you, either weekly or biweekly.
